Sow seeds outdoors in a sunny location with well-drained soil after danger of frost has passed.
For early harvest, start seed indoors 6 to 8 weeks before planting outdoors. Cover seed with 1/8 inch fine soil.

Pinch back plants to encourage bushiness and discourage flowering.
Harvest leaves continually to encourage new growth.
Use in Cooking
Use freshly pruned leaves or harvested plants.
Dry in a warm, airy place. When dry, remove leaves from stems. Seal leaves in an airtight jar or bottle.
